Creating a Wealthy Mindset

The mind is a powerful thing.

Literally everything you ever set out to do in life all starts in your mind first, even if the act in and of itself is not purely mental.

For example, your health.

Anyone who has gone on any sort of fitness journey knows very well that the shift into a healthy lifestyle a very mental shift.

If your mindset isn’t disciplined, you can forget any real change. (Trust me, I know!)

The same ideology applies to wealth.

Now when people think of wealth, they automatically think of money, but that is only a fraction of what all wealth really encompasses.

As I’m writing this, I began looking up official definitions of the word to further expound upon and to my disappoint, most of the definitions only highlighted money and other materialistic assets.

So, after pulling from multiple sources, I decided to form my own definition of wealth with a twist.

Wealth is an abundance of materialistic possessions, healthy relationships, and progressive habits.

These factors target everything we need in life: property, people, and self.

And all of them take root in the mind first.

Before you can get rich, you must think rich.

Before your relationships can prosper, you must decide in your mind to put in the effort to make them prosperous.

Before you establish progressive habits, you must first think of progressive ideologies to produce those habits.

So, I’m going to share how you can develop a wealthy mindset in order to bring about a wealthy reality.

Materialistic possessions.

This includes money, clothing, houses, cars, etc.

The reason I’m sure most of you clicked on this post link.

The first thing you need to establish is a clear vision for what you want out of life.

What kind of car do you want to drive?

How much money do you want to make?

Ask yourself these sorts of questions and use the responses to paint a vivid image in your head.

Next, find someone of influence, someone who is living out your vision in reality.

Study their mannerisms.

Watch their interviews.

Read their books.

You need to adopt those same ideologies that they have and adjust accordingly to your own life.

Remember, you must think rich before becoming rich.

Healthy relationships.

First, you must assess all the relationships you currently have.

Some of them you may need to end if you realize you’re not gaining any value post assessment.

Once you’ve weeded out the bad seeds, evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of each relationship left over.

Determine if the weaknesses in your relationships align with the weaknesses within yourself or the other party.

There is always some sort of correlation, so now you have a starting point of where to put in the most effort.

Progressive habits.

This one is probably the most straightforward.

First, you must establish the personal goals you want for yourself, not materialistic, more so in terms of self-development.

You must then break down all the steps you need to take to get to that goal and transform those steps into consistent habits.

In order for all of these factors to take root, one action must take place.

Affirmations.

They sound really silly to most people at first, but there is power in our statements.

Whether they’re written, verbal, or just a thought in our heads, affirmations are a huge force.

They’re so powerful because statements are a very permanent thing, very final.

So, it doesn’t matter what you do to attain wealth if the statements that live in your head oppose your actions.

When stating affirmations, you use language in the present tense.

Instead of thinking, “I want to make millions of dollars”, you think, “I have millions of dollars.”

Most people say they want millions of dollars, but in their minds, they’re thinking they’ll never have that which is why it doesn’t happen.

This also leads me to manifestation.

Affirmations are the language of manifestation.

The key is to not only use the present tense as if you already possess what you desire, but to also be very specific, which is why the questions and assessments I mentioned earlier are so important.

Make that picture of wealth pop out in your mind, sis!

You must think as if you’re already wealthy to attain wealth, so manifest away!

You still have to put the work in, but implementing the processes listed above will put you at a great starting point.

“I will make $1,000,000 from business by December 2023.”

“I will have a partner that is a great communicator and loves adventure.”

“I will embrace my skin color.”

Shoot, I phrase my affirmations in past tense, thanking God as if he’s already done it, but that’s more elite manifesting that we can save for another post!
