What’s up, babes, we’re back with another highlight! Today’s featurette is someone who I’ve been silently admiring from afar for a while now, the ever so chic, Ms. Alexa Darling (If you don’t say that with a boujee accent, then we can’t be friends.)! This influencer has been making a name for herself, not only with her blog and YouTube channel, but her overall namesake brand in general. Let’s check out how this bilingual beauty got her start: “To be honest, when I started blogging, I was in a very dark place in my life. At first, I kept telling myself that I wasn’t good enough to blog because my first language is Spanish and, for that reason I was very hard on myself thinking that my writing wasn’t going to be good enough or inspire anyone. However, I took the leap of faith and just followed my passion and here I am, doing what I love to do. Writing has been my therapy and it makes so happy to know that I have inspired a few individuals when my goal was to just inspire at least one person.”
I think one thing we can all relate to is feeling inadequate at some point in pursuit of our dreams, but it is so rewarding when you push through that fear to the other side! I know everyone is wondering what Alexa’s got coming up. “My word for 2020 is: Evolve and I’m doing just that. I am currently working on a campaign that promotes self-love and I don’t want to say much right now because I like to move in silence until everything is SET. However, I want everyone to stay tuned because I believe this is really going to encourage and inspire women around the globe.” Ugh, we stan a Queen that moves in silence!
